 CHRISTINE LAKIN (Darla, Sissy) Starting with her first professional engagement at age seven, Dallas native Christine Lakin began her career with the Atlanta Workshop Players, a local theater group that brought musical comedy to schools. Her telefilm debut was at the age of eleven with Christopher Reeve in the MGM-TNT production The Rose and the Jackal. For seven seasons Christine performed on ABC and CBS as Alicia (Al) on the Friday night sit-com, Step By Step with Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers. After the series ended in 1998, Christine went on to guest star on such hit series as Boston Public, 3rd Rock From the Sun and 7th Heaven. In addition to starring in several independent films, Christine appeared in Phoenix Pictures teen comedy Whatever It Takes. Christine starred in the independent Buck Naked Arson, which won best film in its category at the Houston Film Festival in March 2002. Most recently she played the lead female in this fall’s release of the new, teen comedy Who’s Your Daddy?,written and directed by Andy Fickman. (And no, she did not sleep with director then either.) In addition to her work as an actress, Christine just graduated Cum Laude from UCLA majoring in Mass Communications. Having made the permanent switch to California by settling into a house last year, Christine maintains to be in every way, a Southern girl at heart. She would like to thank her incredible friends for their undying love and support, Mr. Fickman, her guardian angel in this crazy town for his overwhelming belief in her, and the Lord God her Rock. Finally major thanks to her parents, Jim and Karen, who selflessly gave her every opportunity available and who love her unconditionally. Even when she plays a total slut.
