ROBERT TORTI (Original Larry, Bob) most recently completed a successful run a the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center starring with his wife Delee Lively-Torti, in Smokey Joe’s Café’. Prior to that, Mr. Torti originated the role of Jack/Jesus in the Los Angeles and New York productions of the cult musical hit Reefer Madness, directed by Andy Fickman, and co-stars in the role of Mike Hunt in the soon-to-be-released feature film Who’s Your Daddy?, also under Mr. Fickman’s direction. Bob’s Broadway debut landed him a Tony Nomination for his work as Greaseball in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Starlight Express. Other Broadway credits include the Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as well as the recent film release opposite Donny Osmond), and the London and Broadway Smash hit Smokey Joe’s Café, originating the role of Bob. After a talent scout saw his performance in Godspell, he was signed as a contract player to Universal Studios at the age of 17. Mr. Torti starred as Jay on The Drew Carey Show, Bobby Grazzo in Fox T.V.’s comedy Vinnie & Bobby opposite Matt LeBlanc. He spent two years as Lt. Kyle Masters in NBC’s daytime drama, Generations, and can be seen currently on MTV’s Spyder Games. He has also guest starred in Melrose Place, G vs E, Beverly Hills 90210, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Family Passions, Quantum Leap, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Hanging With Mr. Cooper, Murder She Wrote, and walked the “Highwire Of Death” on Circus Of The Stars. Feature film wise, Mr. Torti is remembered as teen idol Freddie Fredrickson in Tom Hanks’ directorial debut of the motion picture, That Thing You Do, for which he received a gold record. He gives all of his love to his wife Delee, son Zack and daughter, Faith.
