DEBRA L. GAINOR (Producer) is a Texas native who studied Drama at the Cliff Osmand school of acting while pursuing a local modeling and acting career before moving out to Hollywood to study under Jeff Goldblum’s Playhouse West. After appearing in a number of plays, Debra turned her attention to producing film and digital entertainment. Her feature film experience began when she assisted the producers on Silent Screams, a suspense thriller shot with traditional one-camera units on 35mm film. With her extensive firm relationships in the world of independent filmmaking, Debra production managed Chad’s World, the first series made for the World Wide Web. Debra also headed production for Jesse Dylan’s Paradise Digital Productions, which lead Debra to produce the 2000 Yahoo Internet Life online film festival and several projects for the internet. She production supervised the Mark Illsley feature film, Happy, Texas, as well as the independently produced film, Panic, written and directed by Peabody and Emmy award winning show runner Henry Bromell. Debra also supervised George Hickenlooper’s The Man From Elysian Fields. Debra served as production manager on Andy Fickman’s teen comedy Who’s Your Daddy?, scheduled for release in 2003. Most recently, she served as Associate Producer on Nicolas Cage’s directorial debut Sonny, shot entirely on location in New Orleans. She would like to thank her husband, Glenn, for putting up with her hormones throughout this process.
