GLENN S. GAINOR (Producer) has a strong background in both independent and studio filmmaking, who, for the past ten years has seen four of his movies at the Sundance Film Festival, other high profile fests, national releases and over a dozen pictures produced. Upon graduating from the film program at California State University at Northridge, Glenn launched his career in the film industry when he wrote, produced, and acted in an independent pilot. After an offer to write for an ABC series, he turned his attention to producing with the Independent Film Channel’s One Clean Move. He executive produced Starship Troopers 2, teaming up with the picture’s first producer Jon Davison, and two time Academy Award winner Phil Tippett, who directed. Glenn co-executive produced Gold Circle Films’ Sonny, which was shot in New Orleans, and was the directorial debut for Academy Award winning actor, Nicolas Cage. Gainor collaborated as executive producer for the Verna Harrah production of Who’s Your Daddy? directed by Andy Fickman, and co-produced George Hickenlooper’s The Man from Elysian Fields. Other achievements for Gainor include line producing the critically acclaimed feature film, Panic, starring William H. Macy and Donald Sutherland for Artisan Entertainment, and co-producing Miramax Films’ Happy, Texas, which was the highest reported seller in the history of the Sundance Film Festival. He gives his love and thanks to his wife, Debra, for all of her love and commitment.
