| JOHN ZALEWSKI (Sound Design) is resident sound designer at Evidence Room, a Playwright’s Arena artistic associate and a TCG/NEA Designer Fellowship Recipient. He’s worked extensively with The Actor’s Gang, Bottom’s Dream, the Taper and others in LA, on War Music, Mayhem, Mama Mia!, Cringe, Pentecost, Delirium Palace, Saved, The Berlin Circle, Chokecherry, One Flea Spare, Salome, Sleepwalk and so on. NYC work includes Speed Hedda with Fabulous Monsters at LaMama, Pandora’s Last Xmas at chashama and Juliana Francis’ Saint Latrice at PS122. Most recently he designed Jewtopia at The Coast Playhouse for Andy Fickman, Bea’s Niece at Metrostage in DC for Jessica Kubzansky and Slide Glide at TaperToo. He’s received one Ovation Award (six nominations), four LAWeekly Awards (five noms) and nine Backstage West Garlands. He recently painted much of the set of Ken Roht’s He Pounces at Evidence Room. |
