| MARK CROWELL (Make-Up, Hair Designer) began his career with beauty expert, Adrien Arpel, at Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills, during which time landed him the position as “Star Hairdresser” for Ann Miller and Mickey Rooney in Sugar Babies. He did hair and make-up for Elliot Gould on The Chicago Seven, and continued to work on many stage productions at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, and with Aretha Franklin performing “Natural Woman” at the Academy Awards. Over the years, he has the privilege of working on stage performances with singers like Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Margaret Whiting, Sarah Vaughn, Kay Starr and Helen O’Connell, as well as with comedians Kay Ballard, Sid Caesar and Rip Taylor. |
